The Sydney Alliance is once again delivering its ‘Foundations training’ a must for anyone with an interest in community organising and building strong and efficient civil society coalitions. The Sydney Alliance itself is a ‘civil society coalition whose mission is to provide our community with a voice to express our common values and aspirations for a fair and just Sydney.’
The Foundations training is based on the philosophy and practices of community organising, covering the essentials but also how the Sydney Alliance implements it in an Australian context.
The next Foundations Training is free for organisational members of the Sydney Alliance and will take place on Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 August 2025 – 9am – 5pm each day- at the Uniting Church Sydney Presbytery, 37 St Johns Rd, Glebe.
