The Community Sector Blueprint for minimum rental standards is here

This Friday 10 March will see the official launch of the Community Sector Blueprint (minimum rental standards), a document well-supported by 100+ organisations (including Shelter NSW) on the way forward for a National Framework for Minimum Energy Efficiency Rental Requirements.

A National Framework working party amongst state, territory, and federal governments is currently underway as part of the Trajectory for Low Energy Buildings. With Healthy Homes For Renters at the helm, the Community Sector Blueprint seeks to bring together the core principles for what we in the housing and energy advocacy sectors would like to see on the table for renters, whether they live in public, private, or community housing.

For more details on how to attend the Zoom launch of this important Blueprint – where various speakers including renters with lived experience will present – see: https://www.healthyhomes.org.au/news/launching-the-community-sector-blueprint
