In May this year, we attended NCOSS’ regional forum ‘Keeping Communities Safe’ in Dubbo which was well-attended by a variety of community service organisations, government agencies, academics, local Council workers, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, and others.
One of the key themes at the forum was housing and homelessness, a topic that generated a lot of discussion as reflected in NCOSS’ wrap up reports from the event.
We encourage our supporters to take a look at these reports and the advocacy opportunities highlighted by NCOSS to better house rural and Aboriginal populations.
