Community solutions for community issues: Chatswood table talk on housing pressures and social isolation

Complex issues require a range of perspectives and expertise to create holistic solutions that work for diverse communities. Community table talks represent the first step in bringing unique perspectives and capabilities together to identify and confront the issues impacting our communities and to begin to build solutions that the community can own and implement.

This coming Saturday from 2-4pm, Chatswood Parish is inviting Shelter NSW members and friends, as well as Sydney Alliance members and the broader community, to come together to share their perspectives on housing pressures and social isolation. Participants will have the opportunity to shape the local conversation and influence systemic advocacy, using lived experience to create a shared understanding of what the main challenges and aspirations of participants are, and how they impact the broader community. There will also be the chance to meet like-minded, passionate people and to get further involved in the development of future work.

This community table talk will be particularly relevant for Shelter NSW members living on the Lower North Shore, however all interested members are encouraged to attend.
