Shelter NSW CEO and Chair of National Shelter, John Engeler, was absolutely privileged to be able to attend Day 2 of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Association (NATSIHA) gathering in Canberra this week – to formally launch this ‘new’ peak body (after 6 years in committed development). 

Thanks to Ivan Simon for the special invite, and to Shelter NSW Principal Policy Officer, Stacey Miers, for participating also. John would also like to extend thanks to current National Shelter CEO, Emma Greenhalgh, and previous CEO, Adrian Pisarski, for being so committed to supporting this most important of housing advocacy organisations. ‘Born’ at last!
