Shelter NSW was delighted to attend the re-opening of Stanford House in Darlinghurst, with expanded accommodation and facilities. ‘Since 1991, Stanford House has provided supported accommodation to people living with HIV who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. The service delivers intensive case management and empowers clients to transition to independent living.’
‘Supported by the District’s Adahps team, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District has recently assumed oversight of Stanford House, which is based at St Vincent’s Campus and managed operationally by the Haymarket Foundation.’
